Suzanne is an advocate for keeping America’s wild horses and burros free roaming on our public lands through donations of paintings and prints for fundraising auctions.
“I was bitten by the horse-bug as a girl and I’ve never recovered. They are magnificent animals and my intention with my equestrian paintings is to show the unique and special relationship that can be had with them.
My horse Tanner and I are both fortunate that he roams free with a small herd. In just a few days after being moved from a corral to a large preserve, he quickly bonded with the other horses. His freedom has shown me the beauty of herd life and furthers my dedication toward advocating for keeping wild horses and burros free roaming. Sadly, thousands of these magnificent icons of freedom are rounded up and warehoused in holding pens at taxpayer expense.
Suzanne lives in Sausalito and her horse and muse, Tanner lives on Horse Hill in Mill Valley, CA.
